- Ability to teach using various art styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.
- The class will take place once a week on site, with the ability to also offer live Zoom classes.
- The senior center will provide the materials to be used for the class to the participants.
- A list of Art supplies will be needed at least one month in advance to have it available for class.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Once a Year offer an Art Exhibition to the Public at the Senior Center.
- Background teaching Art/ Multi Art Media, with at least one year of teaching. References and copy of certification required.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of various art styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.
- Skills: Good communication skills with a diverse student population.
- Abilities: Ability to appropriately communicate with elderly residents and those with special needs.
